You know what I love about my brides? Each one is completely different from the next. Some brides want garden weddings, some want vintage, beach or ballroom weddings. Some want low key and others want a PARTY!!! Some want intimate and some want to invite everyone they have ever known. As a planner it is my job to pull together the perfect wedding that fits each brides personality. So when Amanda and David contacted me and told me they wanted a brewery wedding I jumped 10 feet high!!!! Never having done a brewery wedding before I could not have been more thrilled to sit down with Amanda and David and discuss all the fun possibilities. After our meeting they immediately hired me and we were off to plan!!! Amanda and David loved the idea of using antique and raw vintage decor to decorate the reception area. Amanda purchased many items from thrift stores and had some of her own furniture brought in to finish the look. For the ceremony I decorated the arch with vintage tab bottles, brass candle holders and glass bottles. It was different and fabulous. Amanda and David really wanted to focus on the party aspect for the reception so we hired a fun band that nailed it!!! One of my favorite purchases was the transportation. We hired the Tropicool bus to take the wedding party to the ceremony. After the ceremony was over the Tropicool bus had Popsicle’s waiting for the guest before they headed to the reception. A great cool treat after leaving the hot beach. It was perfect!!! To end the night the guest lit Chinese lanterns and set them off into the sky. The wedding was so awesome that it was featured on BOHO Wedding blog…..check it out!!!!!!

Kimberly Hensley herself was a true pleasure to work with; professional, fun, kind, works well with others and always managed to find a way to yes- even when asking for the near impossible. Being a busy bride and groom (as we all are ? ). DH and I made the best decision in working with KHE as she planned our entire wedding with us; from start to finish she was there with us every step of the way.
