MaryClaire and Kyle's Museum of Fine Arts Wedding Downtown St. Petersburg

I never want to say one wedding is my favorite over another because they are ALL my favorite, especially if I planned them (LOL), but I will always pull a detail or two from each wedding that becomes my favorite thing for that particular wedding.

For Mary Claire & Kyle’s wedding it is most definitely HER DRESS!!! I mean, those sleeves, that design and how freaking perfect she looked in her dress. Finding a wedding dress that fits your personality as much as your body is so important. Mary Claire managed to rock the dress that fit both you style and her personality.

The Wedding Venue

The venue of choice was the Museum of Fine Art in Downtown St.Pete, where I frequent often with my clients. The museum fit the elegance they wanted to share with their guests.The banyan tree ceremony was a perfect fit for the nuptials to take place. The banyan tree is always a stunning backdrop for any ceremony. I’m pretty sure that tree is a million years old, okay…probably not a million but it’s old!!

Personal Wedding Decor Details

Mary Claire is a teacher, so we were able to add cute “teacher” details to the event décor; the table numbers were made by Mary Claire and the guest “book” was purchased via Etsy. I love using a small touch of my client’s personalities throughout the event when it fits, it is always a cute touch. One of my other favorite details about this wedding was the small touches of peach we used. Peach is such a dainty, sweet color (when used lightly). I’m not a huge fan of blowing up a room in all peach but I do love little details of peach.

Working with Mary Claire & Kyle on their wedding day was a joy. They are both the sweetest couple and were very relaxed during the planning.
